We have recently recovered compensation for a Swansea man who was injured in a swimming pool accident.
Mr P from Gorseignon, Swansea suffered a dislocation to his left knee when he was involved in an accident at a Local Authority run swimming pool.
The accident occurred when he slipped and fell in the family changing area.
He asked us about his right to claim compensation and we agreed to deal with his case on a no win, no fee basis.
We alleged that the Swansea Local Authority were at fault as non-slip tiles had not been used in the changing area. There was nothing to prevent the Claimant from slipping when it was known that the area would become wet and present a hazard.
Liability was admitted by the Local Authority and following disclosure of a medical report which indicated that the Claimant had made a recovery from his injuries, the claim was settled for £9,750, plus legal costs.
