This is a brief summary of how No Win, No Fee funding works for injury compensation cases from 1 October 2023.
1 . We will pay all expenses associated with your case, such as the cost of doctor’s reports and court fees.
2. If you lose your injury claim you won’t be left facing a legal bill. We will not charge you for the legal work we have carried out or for the case expenses we have paid. You will also be protected from your opponent’s legal costs.
3. If you win your injury claim then we are entitled to recover fixed legal costs from your opponent.
4. Because of the risk we take in dealing with an injury claim on a No Win, No Fee basis, we charge a “success fee” when we recover compensation for you, along with any additional fees not covered by the fixed legal costs. Because our clients like to know exactly where they stand in advance we have fixed the success fee and additional fees at 30% of the compensation recovered.
